At the special LCCCA board meeting held on June 30, 2006 at 7:00 AM, the annual audit of the LCCCA's finances was presented. This audit covered their fiscal year from April 1, 2005 through March 31, 2006.
Trout, Ebersole, & Groff included a cover letter that cited several specific areas of concern, including a "lack of segregation of duties". This means that it would be possible for one individual to "handle a single transaction from beginning to end", without any kind of oversight. It was also recommended that the LCCCA Finance Committee regularly compare actual expenditures with the amount budgeted.
